I won't even make a big ass text this time bc it's the same design and stuff again just like in the first one. Oh yeah you didn't even use events and layers so people will just past by the Bowser battle so it doesn't help if you say "omg u gutta fight da browser dun lev rum" The design is terrible again and theres really nothing to expect from this. All i see is someone who isn't putting any effort even into a joke episode after he was given advice various times. ---------------- Re: Merio's dumb quest too ( finshed! ) Unread post by RudeGuy » 02 Aug 2015, 15:29 oh let me review this Okay... I've found something worse than Challenge Castle. Let's start with the world map: Probably one of the worst I have ever seen. There are almost no sceneries, and everything is really bland. There are also lots of weird things, like going from what looks like the space to an islands. There are also lots of cutoff, you can see where there are no tiles and most of the paths are really long. There isn't even the music. Last thing, here some paths touches, and this is generally bad. Going to the levels: Damp: The cave level you posted in the casual levels. Just look at what they told you in that topic to get criticism. Yellow Switch Palace: It's just pressing switches until you get to the end. The music does not fit at all and there are no BGOs. There are barely any NPCs, but at least there are some. Birdo's Switch Castle: Seriously, why using switch blocks in every level? Also, just press the yellow switch block one time and the red switch goombas will fall and die, removing any challenge that was in killing them. The boss was quite stupid, fighting a birdo in an arena with a lot of thwomps and 2 hammer bros. At least the thwomps were tall enough to not fall when the player was under them. cave: Okay, you finally started putting the enemies in places that aren't stupid or unfair. This level also tried badly to be a troll: If you get the pipe instead of going up you go to an unfair fight with boom boom and it opens a path that goes nowhere. The only meaningful thing about this is the life farm you get after. Locked house: This level has pratically no challenge in it. Actually, if you have a mushroom or something else you can even destroy the bricks under the block with the key and make the level impossible. Cool. Deja Vu: Probably the best level in this episode. Although it has no BGOs like all the other levels, at least it has some decent design, but some enemies are placed stupidly, like the koopas and the goombas at the end, which are very near to the pit and will fall in less than one second. Birdo's Tower: This level is impossible, and the only way I could even finish it was editing the level to put a key for the locked door (because there was no key) and set the birdo to don't move (if it moves it would have gone offscreen, making the level impossible). The first section is pressing switches with no challenge in it and the second is a really unfair boss fight where the entrance is near a goomba that will kill you. You can even get lots of lifes for how much enemies there are when you kill the Birdo. Turn around: Really weird NPC placement, cutoffs and no BGOs. You could hide a bit better that 1-up. Also, there was a 3-up moon and the end but it's impossible to get. Why? -aMAZEing: It's just a short version of that really bad pipe maze in the contest 10, though now there is no challenge as there are pratically no enemies. -Tall fortress: You didn't even put the filename in this level. I had to do it for you. Anyway, the first section is climbing a fence with lots of cutoff while trying to dodge some bullet bills, and some are placed unfairly. The boss is also pratically impossible since there is no way to dodge the bullet bills without cheating, and if you cheat and kill the boom boom, you won't do any progress. The episode, in fact, finishes here. Overall also the levels are really short and NONE OF THEM have BGOs. Most of the NPC placement is either unfair or stupid. Also, all the warp pipes that go left or right have this problem. My final score is 0/10. This is probably the worst episode I have ever played.
